Review: Very, very bland. While Hold Your Colour was not exactly the best drum & bass on the planet, it was exciting enough in its own very commercial way. This latest album from Pendulum is essentially more of the same, only completely lacking in excitement. The basslines feel less thick and raw, and the pop-rock vocals grate intensely. In Silico has a couple of good moments - primarily on the track "Mutiny", the only one to truly diverge from the repetitive sound of the album as a whole. Disappointing.
